Superscale AI vs LocalAds: Agent or Creative Studio?

Superscale AI vs LocalAds, checked 14 October 2026: pricing, media buying, UGC avatars and real ad output compared, with a worked cost per 50 creatives.

The short answer. Superscale AI is an agent that plans, generates, launches and optimises ads inside your connected ad accounts. LocalAds is a creative studio: it reads your product page, shows you the audience and angle strategy, and renders statics, video, Amazon images and ChatGPT ads that you launch yourself. If you want software that also buys media, pick Superscale. If you run your own accounts (or your clients') and want the most product-accurate creative per URL, pick LocalAds. On price per static ad, Superscale is cheaper, and we show the math below.

Prices and features checked on 14 October 2026. Superscale's figures come from its billing docs, its integration capabilities page and its homepage, all read that day. AI ad tools reprice often (Superscale's current plans launched in July 2026), so check the live page before you budget.

Of everything we have compared, Superscale is the closest match to LocalAds. Both start from a URL. Both produce static ads and AI UGC video. Both claim to do the strategy work, not just the rendering. The real fork is who touches your ad account, and that decides most of what follows.

One flag on the media-buying row: on 14 October 2026 Superscale's homepage still tagged its "Launch & Scheduling" module "Coming soon", while its docs describe Meta, Google and TikTok publishing as supported once you grant the right permissions. Ask them what is enabled for your account before you plan around it.

What Superscale does well

Credit where it is due, and there is a lot of it.

  • It closes the loop. Superscale connects to Meta, Google and TikTok, reads performance back into the agent and, with your approval, can create campaigns, ad sets and ads and change budgets. Its docs say every write action is approval-gated. If your bottleneck is launching and iterating rather than making creative, that is a genuine time saver.
  • It is cheaper per asset. A 30-credit static on an 8,000-credit plan works out far cheaper per image than LocalAds, and its entry tier is $50 less a month.
  • A roster when you want one. Superscale offers reusable saved actors and an advertised library of 300+ characters on top of per-video synthetic creators. If you want the same face across a campaign, that is easier there. LocalAds has no roster to browse; we say that plainly.
  • More channels and integrations. Shopify and Klaviyo data can feed the agent, and it covers Google and TikTok as well as Meta.
  • Fast shipping. The company raised a $5M pre-seed led by Creandum in June 2025 (Tech.eu) and has shipped integrations almost monthly through 2026. An independent review called it "the strongest end-to-end AI ad workflow we have tested" (ad-stack.ai, May 2026). The review base is still small: 4.8 from 9 reviews on OMR as of 14 October 2026.

Where LocalAds differs, shown with real output

LocalAds does one thing differently at the start: it reads the actual product page and lays out the plan before it renders anything. You see the audiences, the angles, the offer frames and the hooks as a tree, and every creative maps back to one branch. When an ad loses, you know which angle lost.

Here is what one product URL produced for SUPR, an Indian plant-protein brand for women. Every image below was generated by LocalAds from SUPR's product page during a Rakhi gifting push. None are retouched, and we are not claiming any of them ran or performed.

AI-generated SUPR ad creative headlined "Stop Gifting Generic Whey": a crossed-out generic whey tub on the left, and on the right SUPR's chocolate fudge protein pouch, a tumbler printed with the name Riya, a tote, a red shaker and cookies, with the offer "get her name printed on a free tumbler plus goodies worth ₹3,696"

A comparison angle, generated by LocalAds from SUPR's product page. The page's own claims (plant-based, made for women, the bundle value) carry the argument against a generic whey tub.

AI-generated SUPR ad creative headlined "A Gift That Looks After Her", with benefit callouts for 100% plant-based protein, 23g protein per serving and "made for her", beside the protein pouch, a personalised tumbler, a tote and a shaker

Same product, a benefit angle for the same gift-giver. The pack details (23g protein, 13 servings, chocolate fudge) match the real pouch rather than an invented one.

AI-generated SUPR ad creative headlined "The Rakhi Gift He Got Right", showing a smiling young woman holding a tumbler printed with her name, next to the SUPR pouch, shaker, cookies and tote, with a panel listing goodies worth ₹3,696, her name on the tumbler and a personal message

An outcome angle aimed at the brother buying the gift. The person is generated; no stock avatar was cast.

The same URL also produced product photography with no ad copy, which is what you want for catalogues, Amazon secondary images or a clean carousel card:

AI product photography for SUPR: a gift box holding a pouch of Malai Kulfi flavour Active Daily Protein for Women and a white tumbler printed with the name Riya, beside a brass plate with a rakhi, a diya and a handwritten card reading "Happy Rakhi Riya, for your strength, every day"

Product photography, not an ad: generated by LocalAds from SUPR's product page, square format.

A 2:3 nine-frame product photography board for SUPR: the protein pouches in Malai Kulfi and Chocolate Fudge, the personalised tumbler, the red shaker, the tote and a handwritten Rakhi card, each styled on warm festive sets

A 2:3 board of nine product shots from the same page. Statics come in any ratio (1:1, 4:5, 9:16, 1.91:1), and any of them can be animated into a short video or taken into a 30-second creator-led UGC ad on a paid plan.

The ChatGPT Ads output Superscale does not list

ChatGPT now sells self-serve Sponsored placements, and they need a different kind of asset: a clean square, a 16 to 24 character title and a 32 to 48 character copy line, plus the context you want the ad to appear near. The LocalAds ChatGPT Ads studio builds those, along with context hints and negative phrases, and exports them as an upload kit for OpenAI's Ads Manager.

A ChatGPT conversation asking for fun colorful low-top sneakers for everyday wear, with a Sponsored card below the answer from Comet: a square image of a cream, navy and orange color-blocked low-top sneaker, the title Color Block Low Tops and the line Madagascar mixes playful blues and warm hues, linking to wearcomet.com

A ChatGPT ad made in the LocalAds ChatGPT Ads studio for Comet, an Indian sneaker brand. The image, title ("Color Block Low Tops") and copy line are unedited output, generated from the product page. The conversation around it is our mockup of how a Sponsored card sits under an answer, not a screenshot of a live placement.

Two more outputs sit outside Superscale's documented scope as of 14 October 2026: Amazon listing image sets (nine images per ASIN) and product photoshoots. If those matter, that alone may decide it.

Pricing compared: cost per 50 creatives

Assumptions: list monthly prices on 14 October 2026; one brand; you buy the smallest plan that covers the work; Superscale statics at its documented 30 credits and Seedance video at its 500-credit floor (its docs do not state a clip length, and templates can cost more); LocalAds at 2 credits per ad creative and 1 credit per second of UGC video.

ScenarioSuperscaleLocalAds

50 statics plus four 30-second UGC videos1,500 + 2,000 = 3,500 credits, still Advanced at $99100 + 120 = 220 credits, needs Pro at $299
Cost per static at full use of the entry plan250 generations for $99, about $0.40About 75 creatives for $149, about $1.99

On these numbers Superscale is cheaper, clearly so once video is involved. LocalAds charges more per output because each creative is bound to a researched angle, and because the same balance covers Amazon sets, product photography and ChatGPT ads. Whether that is worth the difference depends on what you were going to do with the leftover Superscale credits. Neither tool takes a fee on ad spend.

Where Superscale is the better choice

Pick Superscale, and do not switch, if any of these describe you:

  • You want one system to make and run the ads. Superscale's agent can launch, read results and shift budget with your approval. LocalAds will not touch your account.
  • Cost per static is the metric you are judged on. At $99 for up to 250 generations, it wins.
  • You want a consistent synthetic face across a campaign. Saved actors and a character library suit that. LocalAds generates the creator per script.
  • You run Google and TikTok as heavily as Meta and want one agent reading all three.
  • You have more than three small brands on a tight budget. Superscale Pro covers five brands at $199.

LocalAds is the better fit when you (or your client) will not hand ad-account access to a third-party agent, when product accuracy across many SKUs matters more than volume, or when you need Amazon listing images, photoshoots and ChatGPT Sponsored cards from the same URL as your Meta ads.

How to test both in one week

You can run a fair test without paying for either, as long as you watch the trial clocks. LocalAds converts on day 3, Superscale's trial on day 5.

  1. Day 1: one product, one brief. Pick a single product URL with clear claims and good reviews. Start the LocalAds trial (60 credits, 30 creatives) and open a free Superscale account (300 credits, about 10 statics, downloads locked). Start Superscale's 5-day trial (1,000 credits) only when you are ready to download.
  2. Days 1 to 2: generate 20 to 30 statics in each. Use the same ratios (1:1 and 4:5 for Meta feeds, 9:16 for Stories and Reels). In LocalAds, prune the strategy tree first; in Superscale, give the agent the same audiences in chat so the briefs match.
  3. Day 3: blind review, then decide on LocalAds. Shuffle the files and have someone who did not make them rank them for product accuracy and stopping power. Cancel the LocalAds trial before it converts if it lost.
  4. Days 3 to 6: put the best 6 from each into one test. One ad set or an ABO split with equal budget, same audience, same landing page. Launch through your own Ads Manager for both, so the delivery conditions match.
  5. Day 7: read early signals and decide. A week is enough for CTR and cost per click, not for ROAS. Keep the tool whose winners you would actually scale, and cancel Superscale before its trial converts if you are not keeping it.

FAQ

What is Superscale AI? Superscale AI is a German startup's autonomous marketing agent. You give it your brand, product and objective, and named agents (Creative Strategist, Static Ads Designer, Media Buyer and others) research, write, generate statics and UGC video, and, with your approval, publish and optimise on Meta, Google and TikTok, according to its homepage and docs as of 14 October 2026.

How much does Superscale cost? As of 14 October 2026, Superscale lists Advanced at $99 a month (8,000 credits, 250 generations, 1 brand), Pro at $199 (16,000 credits, up to 5 brands), Scale at $399 (32,000 credits, up to 15 brands) and Enterprise from $799, per its billing docs. A static costs about 30 credits and a Seedance video from 500.

Does Superscale have a free trial? Yes. A free account includes 300 credits with no card, but downloads stay locked. The 5-day trial gives 1,000 credits, runs through checkout, and converts to your chosen plan unless you cancel first. LocalAds' trial is 3 days, card required, with 60 credits for statics; Video Ads unlock on a paid plan.

Is Superscale cheaper than LocalAds? Per static ad and per video, yes, on published prices. Fifty statics fit Superscale's $99 plan with credits to spare, while LocalAds needs its $149 Starter plan. LocalAds' case is product accuracy, a visible strategy tree, and Amazon, photoshoot and ChatGPT Ads output from the same credits, not price.

Does LocalAds run my ads like Superscale does? No. LocalAds does not buy media, manage budgets or take a fee on ad spend. You download or export the creatives and launch them in your own Meta, Google or ChatGPT Ads Manager, so your accounts stay entirely in your control.

What is a good Superscale alternative for Amazon and ChatGPT ads? If you need Amazon listing images (nine per ASIN) or ChatGPT Sponsored-card creative alongside your social ads, LocalAds covers both from the same product URL. We did not find either format in Superscale's public docs on 14 October 2026.

Can I use Superscale and LocalAds together? Yes, and some teams will. A common split is LocalAds for product-accurate statics, Amazon and ChatGPT creative, uploaded into accounts that Superscale's agent then reads and optimises. Check how Superscale treats ads it did not create before you rely on that.
